Attention Grabbing Confirmation Page and Quiz Landing Page

The owner of a 'quiz landing page' wants to grab the attention of prospective clients, enhance that interest and maintain it until the main goal is achieved. What is the main goal? The goal is to make a sale, of course. We all have a short attention span. We easily forget things. The 'confirmation page' will help you grab the attention of a potential customer.
Here is what you need:
1) To grab the customer's attention by putting a 'confirmation page' for 'quiz landing page', you must repeat the keywords of your product or service. Give your prospective client a hint explaining your product or service. Use keywords that can catch attention.
Potential clients will have an interest in continuing to use the site if you were able to attract them with magnetic words. You may also use straightforward types of words since some customers prefer simplicity.
If you use plain words that are very ordinary, they might visit the 'quiz landing page' only one-time. Most likely, they will lose interest.
2) To grab the customer's attention by putting a 'confirmation page' for 'quiz landing page', use appropriate fonts, designs, images or even videos to make it more enjoyable. Interesting facts regarding the create quiz analysis may also be included to generate more visitors.
Unusual facts, images or videos may attract more potential clients to drop by your 'quiz landing page' since they might find it interesting and one-of-a-kind.
Too much simplicity may discourage visitors from additional browsing because they feel it would be too boring. Even worse, they may leave the page immediately especially if the facts cited are very common.
3) To grab the customer's attention by putting a 'confirmation page' for 'quiz landing page', make the page easy to comprehend, using only one link if possible.
A single link directing potential customers straight to the 'quiz landing page' will make a greater impression. This is especially true for those inexperienced at browsing the net. In addition, clear and simple instructions will generate more success since these questions are easier to understand. Your clients may be young people who only know simple words.
A large selection of links will make it more confusing for the prospective buyer to select the one you prefer they choose. In the end, they might click the wrong link and end up buying from another seller. Aside from that, use of complex words might be difficult to understand. As such, your clients will slowly lose their interest.
It is important to create an interesting 'confirmation page' for a more successful 'quiz landing page'. Always keep in mind your target customer. This focus will guide you in helping customers understand your products and services.
You will surely get more earning if you know how to market properly.

Quiz Building - How to Create a Multiple Choice Exam

Learning should be fun. Likewise making a quiz should be easy and fun. Have you ever tried building an exam in word and became frustrated trying to format the exam paper? In education or business multiple choice exams are probably the most common test format. It offers simplicity for both examiners and quiz takers. Creating a multiple choice test need not be complicated. By following the guidelines below you should have no problem creating a basic multiple choice exam. The good news is that once you have created one multiple choice exam, you have now become an expert.
Questions you should ask yourself before building the exam
1. Will some questions contain multiple answers?
If this is true after each question state the number of answers the quiz taker needs to mark e.g. "mark 2 answers" otherwise display at the top of the first page "Every question requires only ONE answer". This will save pages when printing tests with a large number of questions.
2. Will some exam questions contain images?
Moving images may throw everything out of format so if images are required ensure they do not need to be moved at a later stage. Images must be clearly displayed with no loss of quality. I recommend printing in high quality and if necessary in colour.
3. Will some exam answers contain images?
Same as above ensure the exam taker can clearly see and mark the correct image answers.
Building your exam
1. The beginning of the exam paper should contain clear and concise instructions. For example the quiz taker should know the required pass mark and time limit - if applicable. Print these at the top of the first page, along with a space for the create quiz taker to print their name/ID.
2. Prepare your questions list along with the correct and incorrect answers. You might want the exam to progressively increase in difficultly, if so make sure the easy questions appear at the beginning.
Note: be selective with the incorrect answers. In order to assess the exam taker, try including semi-related incorrect answers e.g.
Question: What is the capital city of England?
Correct
a. Manchester
b. Liverpool
c. London
Incorrect
a. New York
b. France
c. London
3. Ensure each question is grouped with its answers i.e. do not allow a question to appear on one page with its possible answers appearing on the following page. Each new page should begin with a new question and each question should have all answers appearing beneath - on the same page.
Tips
1. The questions must not be misinterpreted; trick questions are acceptable but ensure if a question requires a single answer only one answer can be a direct match.
2. Do not cram questions and answers. The quiz taker should comfortably read each question and adequate space should be provided allowing the quiz takers to mark their answer.
3. Need I say print extra copies?
4. When correcting print 1 identical copy with the correct answers marked, this makes it visually easier for the corrector(s).

When playing Restaurant City, users can have their friends become waiters and chefs. They can also design their own restaurant with the furniture, decor, and equipment of their choice to create a personally-styled eatery. The problem: they require 2000+ ingredients!
The Restaurant City Create Quiz is a really cool part of the game as it helps players learn about different foods and spices. There are a number of websites online that people can go to get answers to many of the questions asked in these quizzes. There is also a Quiz tool available in the tools section of the application. Here are a few examples of some of the quiz questions you will find on Restaurant City with the answers supplied as well.
Q: Agar is a gelatinous substance derived from what?
A: The answer is seaweed.
Q: To blanch a vegetable, means to?
A: The answer is to boil and cool off quickly.
Q: Foie gras is food made from which part of an animal?
A: The answer is the liver.
There are hundreds of questions available as part of the quiz, meaning you will be able to obtain a number of random ingredients. This is why taking the Restaurant City Quiz can be vital part of a player's success in the game, as the more ingredients they obtain, the more profits they will earn. The fact that players can trade ingredients presents the advantage of being able to get the ingredient you need to prepare a certain dish without having to acquire the ingredient financially - some are rare and hard to get.
For all fortunate eatery owners, the Restaurant City Quiz presents an opportunity to not only add the ingredients you need to your repertoire, but also gain additional real world knowledge about food related topics.

Make Money Organising a Quiz Night

Quiz nights can be a fantastic way of making some extra money. Whether you want to increase the takings behind a bar (if you're a landlord) or want to raise some money for your children's school quiz nights are fairly simply to organise and can make a decent amount of money.
The more people you get, the more money you'll make. Pretty simple, eh? Therefore, advertising is key. How you go about this will depend on the venue and your target audience. If you are planning on running it in a local pub get the landlord's permission to put up some posters.
Another great way is to get contacts is put a large jar on the bar with a sign saying "Drop your business card in for your chance to win BIG prizes". This should get a number of email addresses so you can then email them with the details of your quiz, including of course, the BIG prizes you have mentioned...
If the quiz night is going to be held for a parents evening at a school, or targeted at some other club or group of people then send out letters or flyers telling them about the evening and prizes.
Now, let's assume you've had a successful marketing campaign you will now want to write or buy a great create quiz. If you have the time you could create your own quiz, but a lot of people don't have the time or inclination for this so the other option is to buy a professional quiz pack online. There are plenty to choose from and can be of a much higher quality than if you tried to create your own.
If you do want to write your own quiz pack then you must keep to these rules: Include questions from different generations so as not to exclude people. Don't make the questions too hard or too easy. Make the questions interesting. If someone doesn't know the answer to the question but wants to know, this is a sign of a good question.
Some people will come along just for the challenge of the quiz, but good prizes will only help the popularity of the quiz night. If you are holding the quiz in a pub you may be able to persuade the landlord to give the winners some free drinks (after all, your quiz is bringing him a lot of extra trade!). If the quiz is to raise money for a school or charity try to get prizes donated. If all else fails, you could give a cash prize, but this will probably come out of the profits.
How much can a quiz night make? Well it's not rocket science - the more people you have the more you make. Let's assume you have 50 people in the quiz, each paying a £3 entrance fee. That's £150 straight away. If you are the owner of the pub you may also get twice the normal takings behind the bar.
If you have hired a hall out or its being held in a school hall you could then start selling beverages, snacks and chocolate bars. That 50 people will probably spend between £2-£5 each, resulting in an extra £100-£250.
The bottom line is that you could make anything from £150 to £400 from a single night, and that is assuming you only get 50 people turning up. Double the number of people taking part and you can double your takings. So get 100 people there and you could make £800! Pretty good for a night's work!

Listen to Learn - Create Quizzes With Sounds

You can learn a lot when you listen!
Sound quizzes stimulate young minds. This activity encourages learners to use their sense of hearing to interpret the world around them. That is where a sound quiz helps!
If you are a language teacher of English, Chinese or any other, you should use spelling tests a lot for frequently misspelled words. For tutors who are giving music lessons, they need to incorporate audio clips into the testing content. As you teach ear training to your students, you need to present a specific sound in your create quiz.
Then where to start making a sound quiz? A lot of people may give you the answer: Macromedia Flash. But it sounds more good than practical. Without any Flash programming experience or a tech guy' help, it could be a task impossible to be completed.
Fortunately, technology is made easy these days. If you dig into the web, you can find some, although few, teacher-friendly tools that can do this for you, making testing with sound without the need of any multimedia production expertise. We may call it "What you see is what you get".
In the market of educational software, such kind of tools is available now. You can design professionally-looking quiz in an easy way.

Pub Quiz - 5 Formats That General Knowledge Quiz Goers Always Enjoy

Creating a pub quiz needs to have a lot of thought put it. Difficulty level, topics, and the amount of quiz rounds are all important parts to a quiz.
  1. Standard Format. Standard format of a pub quiz is a set number of rounds, usually 4 or 5, often contain a handout round. A set of general knowledge quiz is usually the focus of the quiz with at least 50% of the quiz having various trivia questions. To set one up, you firstly need to pick the amount of rounds you want (usually about 5). Then write or buy for 2 or 3 of the sets of tens questions. Now select what kind of handout round you want. The most common being a picture quiz, but taglines, anagrams and small story boards are becoming very popular.
  2. Themed Format. Similar to the Standard pub quiz, but with the focus of the general knowledge questions being about the important date or event. Common themes are based around Christmas, Halloween, Valentines and St Patrick day. Usually the handout round is a picture with the whoever or whatever disguised with the clothing which relates to the theme, such as celebrities with a Santa beard on.
  3. Rounds Table Format. Round table format is a lot more relaxed with the quizzes given out as handouts rounds. They are a selection of quizzes such as handout rounds, anagrams and taglines. They can be handed out or you can leave one on the table and include them as one of the rounds of a normal pub quiz. First hand them out then mark them and give a fresh one out. Round table quizzes are excellent option for a couple times a week and you can do free ones with no prizes just leave them on the actual table or you can do them with prizes and entry fee. These are coming back as being popular and are perfect if you don't have a competent create quiz master.
  4. Story board Format. Story boards are relatively old, but new with regards to pub quizzes. You may remember doing these at school having a passage and then having to fill in the blanks from either a preselected list or your own general knowledge. A story board pub quiz can be handout rounds solely but are more fun to be read out by a quiz master with the answers being given out at the beginning. You have to have firm rules that everyone understands before starting this type of quiz otherwise you'll be spending ages repeating yourself which loses the appeal. Read slowly and carefully pause to allow people to think before moving onto the next part of the passage.
  5. Cryptic Format. Cryptic formats again are becoming more popular. This is where mystery in the clues to link to the answer. Quiz rounds are usually 4 or 5 questions as they take longer to get and sometimes a prize is given for the one who gets it first but becomes a bit messy and time consuming. If thinking of doing a cryptic pub quiz be sure to have less questions per rounds

Quiz Creator

I noticed there are a few quiz creators in the market some of which are desktop programs which run locally on the user's computer. There are also however some online quiz creators but I did not find them appealing not because of their features and functionality but because of their dependence on having an internet connection in order to use them. Dependence on internet to use a program and the fact that you don't own the program to be able to create quiz on demand and at will is a turn off for me. I found three desktop quiz creator programs that really caught my attention. Each of those quiz creators are themselves not bad and have basic building blocks of any quiz but I took a hard look at where they stand in terms of price, features, that set them apart from the other two quiz creators. I found there is right balance of features and price and there are many advanced features for a reasonable price.
The user interface is very clean and uncluttered. It is in fact very intuitive and all functions and buttons are easily accessible. Nine different types of questions are supported.
· Multiple Choice Single Response
· True or False
· Multiple Choice Multiple Response
· Fill in the Blank
· Matching
· Sequence
· Word Bank
· Click Map
· Short Essay
Each of these question types can be easily added with just a single mouse click. Each type of question supports the following.
· Customizable font settings.
· Separate feedback for the correct and incorrect answer per question.
· In some questions such as multiple choice questions a separate feedback can be provided for every multiple choice.
· Feedback can be customized using fonts, colors, picture, equation, and a custom audio.
· Branching to continue to the next question, finish the quiz, or jump to a specific question.
· Scoring can be done per answer or per question.
· An image can be imported or a screen capture inserted into the question or answer.
· An illustration can be added to a question to provide visual cue or picture relevant to the question.
· Separate audio can be imported or recorded live for every question.
· A very useful feature in Quiz Creator is Text to Speech conversion where with one mouse click the text question can be converted to speech.
· Flash format (SWF or FLV) movie can be inserted for every question.
· An equation editor is available to insert equations into the questions and answers. This feature is particularly useful in creating questions involving equations.
· A notes editor is also available to include additional information about the question or the answer to the quiz taker.
· Each question can be previewed using a preview button without having to run the entire quiz.
· Five difficulty levels namely very easy, easy, moderate, difficult, very difficult are available which can be set per question.
· The number of times (attempts) the quiz taker is allowed on a question is also configurable giving the quiz author flexibility in controlling the number of retry attempts per question.
· Each question has a user configurable scoring system where points can be assigned for correct or incorrect answer. Positive points and negative points are available in the scoring system where positive points can be assigned for correct answer and negative points for incorrect answer. Of course the number of points per question whether positive or negative is configurable.
Quiz Creator provides ability to add custom quiz properties to tailor the quiz to suit ones needs. The information includes quiz title, author information, introductory page, quiz image, quiz statistics, time limit for the entire duration of the quiz, time limit for each question, submit answer one question at a time or all at once, show answer immediately after submitting a question, allow quiz taker to review answers, number of quiz attempts, random presentation of quiz questions, quiz passing percent, show customized message for a correct answer or incorrect answer, display quiz statistics, take quiz taker to a specific web page depending upon if the quiz taker passed or failed the quiz, password protect the quiz, globally set points, difficulty, feedback, font or randomization of questions to apply to the entire quiz.
It also provides many quiz player templates that can be customized by adjusting the theme, background color, toolbar color, panel color, highlight color, appearance of paper, background sound, and quiz text and label settings. Quiz author can also control the layout of the quiz by adjusting the image location, number of columns for choices, numbering of questions, and display settings such as quiz title, capability to print, audio icon, question flag, question points, question type, etc.
There is capability to preview the entire quiz without having to publish the quiz. This is a useful feature when you want to test the quiz for bugs or errors and fix them before actually publishing and releasing the quiz to end users.
There is capability to publish the quiz to many common multimedia formats including Flash for easy deployment on the web, SCORM or AICC package for LMS, Auto Play Exe for CD delivery, or Word/Excel quiz for easy printing and distribution using hard or soft copies.
Overall this is an excellent quiz making software that is very easy to use, produces quizzes that are professional, secure, interactive, fun, rich in multimedia, easy to deploy and distribute, and above all is very cost effective. This is a must have for anyone interesting in developing quizzes.

Is There Any Real Use For A Fun Quiz?

Q. I don't like my children spending so much time on the computer and playing video games. Can you help me find or develop a fun quiz to stimulate their thinking?
A. A fun quiz is an excellent way to keep kids occupied especially during the vacation months when learning takes a hiatus.
The key to designing a fun quiz is to keep the subjects relevant to things that interest your children while managing to stretch the limits of their knowledge.
A fun quiz does not have to be so easy that it's seen as a joke, nor does it have to be boring. Here's an example:
Let's say that one of your children enjoys playing with American Girl dolls and her favorite is Kirsten. Now, we all know that Kirsten moved to the United States from Sweden when she was a little girl, right?
Instead of asking a fun create quiz question like "Where did Kirsten live before moving to the United States?", which any devoted Kirsten fan knows the answer to already, you could ask: "What colors are on the Flag of Sweden, where Kirsten used to live?". This serves the purpose of bringing subjects into the fun quiz that your children are interested in, yet it stretches the limits of their knowledge and forces them to learn while having fun!
Sneaky parents, aren't we?
You can create fun quiz contests where you design the quiz, print out multiple copies, and distribute them to your child's play group, Brownie or Cub Scout Troop, or other occasions where two or more children are gathered together. You can have prizes for the most interesting answer, or for any other metric that you care to use.
Remember that the key word in fun quiz is fun. If the kids catch on that you are actually making them learn something then the magic may disappear and your fun quiz will turn into just another dumb thing that Mom or Dad wants them to do.
A fun quiz does not have to be limited to small children. You can create a fun quiz that allows your teenager to earn "borrow the car" points by answering traffic safety questions.
Employees can also participate in a fun quiz where you award points or prizes for answering questions about your products or services or, perhaps, questions about your biggest and smallest clients.
The point that I am trying to make here is that a quiz does not have to be something dreadful. A fun quiz can be used to teach and entertain at the same time. Go ahead, try it yourself. My challenge to you is to create a fun quiz that will entertain, stimulate, and teach the people who take it.

3 Ways to Use a Corporate Quiz to Build Your Business

Quizzes posted on a corporate website are great for employee training or pre-employment questionnaires. But that's just the beginning their usefulness. For example, generate more visitors to your website with a simple quiz that takes advantage of the viral nature of social media networks. A well thought-out quiz can also give you valuable insight into your prospects and customers, and their buying decisions. Here are three ways to use a corporate quiz to promote interaction and solicit information.
1. Get to know your customers
With online quizzes, there is no need to call customers or waste money mailing surveys. Prospects can fill out your corporate quiz online whenever they have time. Quizzes let you ask what's important to your site visitors and what they want from your company without making customers feel intruded upon.
Create a quiz that lets visitors provide feedback about certain aspects of your products or services. You may be very surprised at their answers. You can also create quiz testing your vendors' or resellers' knowledge about your products. Because these folks are charged with presenting your products or services to end users, they need to be well versed about your entire line.
2. Create a quiz to engage site visitors
Have a little fun! Quizzes utilizing trivia questions about the history of your company, or its products and services, go a long way toward engaging site visitors. They are also useful as a research tool for your marketing department.
Learn a lesson from Pepsi. They didn't buy Super Bowl ad time this year. Instead they asked people what charity they wanted the money (which normally would have been used for advertising) donated to. This is an excellent example of how to engage site visitors while showcasing your company's values.
3. Drive traffic through social networking
Make use of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social networks when you create a quiz. Send a tweet providing people with information then ask them to share their opinions by taking your quiz.
If your business has a company page or fan page on Facebook, post a comment with a link to your website asking for your followers' opinions on your new product or service.
In addition, post links to your corporate quiz to the various groups your company belongs to within LinkedIn. This can send an entire community to your website at once. These groups can provide you with data and opinions in a matter of minutes.
When you create an interesting and relevant corporate quiz you engage your prospects, collect vital marketing intelligence, and dramatically improve customer relations.

4 Tips For Effectively Creating an Online Quiz

A comprehensive online test generator allows you to create your own quizzes for fun, education, training or blogs. Once the quiz is created the better-quality online tools allow distribution in a variety of ways to meet your testing needs. Below are 4 tips to help you determine what to look for in an online quiz generator to help you design, build and share your quizzes. Create quiz is fun and easy when you follow these simple steps:
1. Determine who is going to be taking your online quiz
Are you designing a quiz for your students, employees or just for your friends to have some fun? Quizzes can be created for classroom testing so students have easy access and receive immediate feedback. Companies can use quizzes for employee training and assessments. You can create and share fun quizzes with your friends, or increase your audience participation by using quizzes on your blog.
2. Decide on the best type of question to use for your audience
With an online quiz you can usually choose from multiple question types to ensure you find the right one for your audience. With most software you will be offered a choice of at least true/false, fill in the blank, multiple choice and short answer question types. But some online test generators have more variety of question types and allow you to shuffle questions and provide instant feedback to test takers. Make sure the quiz generator you select offers the type of questions you need.
3. Write down the questions and answers
Once you've decided what type of question you want to use, write down the questions and answers. All you need to do is log into an online test generator, type in your questions and answers and create your quiz. With your questions and answers prepared you can create a quiz in just a few minutes. Better online tools allow you to pick quiz color schemes and change the font type and size for ease of reading.
4. Determine how you want your audience to access the quiz
Last, decide how to distribute your online quiz so people can start taking it. Make sure the tools you select allow you to post quizzes on social networking sites, email them, or place them on your blog. If you're using the quizzes for pre-interview purposes you should be able to post them on the company website for potential applicants to take prior to an interview. Think about which avenue will work for your audience. The best way for them to access the quiz is often directly related to why they are taking it.
Online test generators are a great resource for developing and sharing quizzes. Follow the simple tips outlined in this article and see how easy it is to create a fun quiz for your friends, a test for your students, or self assessments and training for employees.

This article will demonstrate how to create a simple online quiz complete with options for feedback, scoring and tracking, using free Flash quiz template Please ensure you can manage to use Adobe Flash MX, Flash 8, Flash CS3, or Flash CS4 before attempting this.
The quiz template is included in Flash MX and above versions, and it is designed to automatically track results and send them to a learning management system configured for your quiz. Furthermore, it should be SCORM and AICC compliant for using in Learning Management System (LMS).
First of all, you can download a 30 day trial version of Adobe Flash from the Adobe's official website.
1. Create a new Flash document choosing the existing Quiz template. File > New > Templates tab > 'Quiz' Category > 'Modern Photo Quiz_style2 ' Template

Adding A Single Quiz in Flash You can add any question types as a single quiz (e.g. true or false type) into your Flash document at any time, however these standalone quiz interactions, when used outside of the quiz template, are not designed for SCORM tracking in LMS.
1. If you want to insert a single quiz as learning interaction, you can just do like this: Window > Common Libraries > Learning Interactions
2. A library of the various learning interactions will open up. Drag the one you want onto the stage.
- Alternative Flash Quiz Solution As we know, not every user can use Flash programming perfectly to create quiz.
So over the market, there's some rapid quiz authoring tool like Wondershare QuizCreator to help make Flash quizzes in an easier way.
